What is Dine to Meet?
Is Dine to Meet a dating service? No, we match up tables of people of similar age and similar interests. Because you’re not on a one to one, you’re under no pressure. Everyone mingles. After that, maybe you'll see a spark, maybe you won't. What’s more important is that you get to go out and enjoy a good meal, good conversation and expand your circle of friends. How do I apply? To apply simply submit an application form with your details...we do all the work! Dine to Meet chooses eight compatible people to meet, based on age and interests. We book a restaurant table and then send you an email with the details. How soon will I be sent an invitation to a dinner? Dine to Meet will try to accommodate every application, however, due to the small numbers per group there are limited places available. What is the charge for using Dine to Meet? Dine to Meet is the easy way to meet people, there is no membership or online dating involved. To participate in a Dine to Meet table there is a charge of €75. This is the Dine to Meet service charge. A Dine to Meet representative will meet you in the restaurant, introduce you to the other guests and share the first round of drinks. After that you are left to enjoy your meal. The charge is payable by our secure credit card payment facility when confirming your seat at one of our tables. If you wish to take part in additional Dine to Meet dinners there is a reduced rate of €60 per dinner party. Is my information kept confidential? Absolutely. We do not disclose any of the application information to other guests or any other party. What should I wear? These evenings are all about being relaxed, so whatever you’re comfortable in. However, as we reserve tables in top quality restaurants we would recommend smart but casual attire. What kind of restaurants do you go to? We try to choose restaurants with good food, good service and a relaxing atmosphere. How much will my meal cost? We choose restaurants based on their high quality cuisine. The
highest price of a main course will be under €30. It's up to
you whether you decide to get wine or not, or what you choose. All
our restaurants have received exemplary reviews.
Dinners are held from Tuesday – Saturday nights. You can make a preference for the night that suits you best. If we do not have a compatible table for you on your specified night we will simply let you know. How many dinners can I attend? You can attend as many as you like. Dine to Meet wants everyone at the table to be on an equal footing. Can I ask for Dine to Meet for another guest's number after the meal?
